American Foundation for the Blind (AFB) AFB is a national information and advocacy organization.
American Printing House for the Blind (APH) APH produces braille and large print books along with many learning aids.  Many of the materials your child will use in school come from APH.
Hadley Hadley offers free classes to family members of individuals who are visually impaired, including several braille courses.
National Braille Press (Read Books Program) National Braille Press sells a variety of braille materials for children and adults.  The Read Books Program  distributes free books bags to families of blind children birth through age 7.
National Library Service (NLS) for Blind and Physically Handicapped NLS provides recreational reading materials for individuals who are blind free of charge.  Materials include braille books.
Seedlings Braille Books for Children Seedling sells low cost braille books for young children up through high school.
